''Welcome to the Blacklist Club''〔http://evantaubenfeld.com/〕 (originally titled With a Wink and a Smile) is the debut album by American singer/songwriter Evan Taubenfeld, ex-guitarist of Avril Lavigne. The album was expected to be released on September 15, 2009,〔http://www.amazon.com/dp/B002JCYSNM〕 but was rescheduled to a later date. During Taubenfeld's UStream chat on March 28, 2010, he confirmed that the album would be released on iTunes worldwide on May 18, 2010. On February 24, a promotional single, "Cheater of the Year" was released on iTunes, and a lyric video was made available on MySpace. The first official single, "Boy Meets Girl" was released on March 31.

Most people don’t express how much they want to fall in love. For me, half the album is about being able to expose that. The other half...is more about having fun."
